When Hurricane Michael struck Florida, Twila wanted to go home to help her family. The closest flight put her hours away with roads blocked from fallen trees and wreckage. Undeterred, Twila rented a truck, bought fuel and a chainsaw, and hacked her way home. Twila brings this level of dedication to her work in part because she knows firsthand the challenge of being displaced, without basic utilities, and the struggle that comes with disaster.
Twila excels at relationship building and has been instrumental in Tyton Government Services’ pivot to stateside project management work.
